Suunto t6d Heart Rate Monitor very accurate to buy

I did lots of analysis on these watches/computers and glad i got the suunto. you wont find a lot of documentation on the website and not a lot of comes with the watch but you actually dont need it. All you need is some time to mess around with the menu and if you be part of a free forum like movescount, you will get all the knowledge you actually need on it.

The watch is light weight, durable, keeps a lot of stats than the common person very desires, and is fairly correct. I dont regret the choice to purchase the watch or foot pod; would do it once more in a heartbeat and am considering giving them as gifts.

Things i don’t like, when in a training program the backlight is useless. It lights up, and you’ll be able to scan it, but it flashes; i cant scan atiny low flashing screen when i’m running within the dark. The pc association cable and terminals are archaic. 3 recessed brass terminals on the watch and three brass pogo jumpers on a clip, after drenching the entire factor in sweat and dirt, it takes a few tries to urge it link up and download. i’d have expected some sort of BT sync or one thing a lot of advanced given how great the watch is.

again, the watch is more than the majority would want -more than i would like – but the HR band is extremely comfortable and also the watch will it all and is comfortable to use and wear.

UPDATE:
I have had this watch/belt/foot pod for over a year and use them to run a minimum of three times (5hrs) every week. thus far the watch is great. I actually have no regrets and would obtain this once more. Belt and foot pod take little/no time to setup, calibration is additionally simple. Once setup I found them to be reliable and correct. The watch is simple to use and straightforward to scan when running; I particularly liked the setup of custom displays. The watch is extremely comfortable and does not slide around. The HR belt is additionally terribly comfortable, I forget it’s on most of the time.

I find the Suunto watch/software to be useful. It tells me all styles of stuff HR, pace, averages, altitude, temp, distance, training result, lap times, time, kCals, …etc. Suunto’s MovesCount website keeps the logs and training statistics on-line that is good. best of all the sync software is MAC/PC compatible.

The only annoyances I actually have with this watch are the backlight is non very useful and also the audible alarms are faint. The sync cable is annoying. The foot pod is light and constantly correct, but the mounting clip is slightly wider than i’d like for my shoe.
